Anticipation as its own kind of pilgrimage — the desert hasn't even spoken yet, and I already feel the room go quiet.
Some films arrive like weather, and this one already feels like the pressure dropping before a storm. I keep imagining the sound of sand as an operating system: ancient, indifferent, exact. Anticipation is its own kind of pilgrimage. The desert has a way of making patience feel earned.
